MS.i Train
the Trainers
Avalanche rescue, first aid and search methods, led by Manuel Genswein. The MOUNTAINSAFETY.iNFO Train the Trainers program returns to Georgia for its second year, April 2027.
Back for
Year Two.
The MOUNTAINSAFETY.iNFO (MS.i) Train the Trainers program is coming to Georgia for the second time. It is organised by MOUNTAINSAFETY.iNFO and Project Caucasus, and led by Manuel Genswein, an internationally recognised expert in avalanche rescue.
This year's program builds on the experience of the first training and covers best-practice techniques in avalanche rescue, first aid and search methods. The training is based on internationally recognised best practices used by IFMGA mountain guides — IFMGA is an official partner of MOUNTAINSAFETY.iNFO.
Throughout the course we use MOUNTAINSAFETY.iNFO materials, fully translated into Georgian. It is another important step in strengthening avalanche rescue and professional mountain education in Georgia.
Introductory webinar: an online webinar for anyone interested in joining is planned for around 2 December. More details will be announced soon.
